As a maker I approach my work as a series of (intimate) encounters that are part of my expanded choreo-poetic and dramaturgical practice and ongoing enquiry into crip/queer time and experience; touch; care and loss part of an ongoing enquiry into expanded choreo-poetics and dramaturgical practice; crip/queer time and experience; touch, care and loss.
Drawing from practices of listening, care and conversation, with human and more-than-human bodies, as beginnings for exploring physical and emotional landscapes, I work with text and touch to create sensorial poetries, quiet queerings, spaces for respair - salves - to inhabit and pass through.
As a dramaturg/e and associate artist I have been a companion to a range of artistic research, creation and change processes, with artists and organisations whose practices question dominant norms and are centred in dance, choreography, the choreographic, performance and live art.
